Max Calvera Vernet was born in Barcelona on April 8, 1999. In 2021 he graduated in direction and audiovisuals at ESCAC with an excellence scholarship. His first short film, Better knock on wood for Christmas, has been selected at the Sitges festival, among others. He has also collaborated and worked in some Catalan production companies such as Life & Pictures and Ikiru films.
