To unwind before bed after an evening of doom-scrolling, overworked Layla listens to a ‘forest escape’ soundscape via a sleep ambience app called Outside Noise. But, as she struggles to settle, the eerie soundscape begins to blend with her reality. Unable to ignore a rise in unnerving occurrences, Layla soon suspects the app may have conjured something frightening into her bedroom...

Ethan Evans is an award-winning writer/director from the UK who specialises in horror. In 2018, Ethan co-founded the dark-genre production company 'Terror Arcade', and his lockdown short 'Time Out' has gained over 90 million views online. In 2021, Ethan made his TV series debut, writing and directing two episodes of 'The Haunted Museum' which was produced by Eli Roth. Ethan is in development for his debut feature film.
