Lena Fakler, born and grown up in Swabia, Germany, starts writing in order to fight the provincial boredom. Between 2016 - 2018 she studies film, script writing, at Hamburg Media School. During her studies she writes the scripts for five short movies which were internationally screened at film festivals. Her first feature-length film AM ENDE DER WORTE premiers at Hofer Filmtage and is nominated for Grimme Preis. Her Tatort: SCHATTENLEBEN is screened in 2022.
