Tekhenu is egyptian word for an obelisk and means sky piercer.

The autumn color spectrum of leaves above the graves. The leaf clings to the tree until it finally falls to the ground like the diminishing years of a person's life. What remains of the tree is a vascular system formed by empty branches, which is ready to be compressed by frostbite. The numbers and letters on the tombstones flash like symbols on a one-handed screen. Nobody knows where and who the jackpot is waiting for.

I (Tomi Malkki aka Malakias) was born in a finnish swamp-area at Finland. As a kid I liked bananas and taking sun baths at balcony. Plastic hippo with four wheels was mine favourite riding toy. At the age of two it was hard to draw a line where I ended and Hippo started. Mine childhood idols were Lucky Luke and O loupežníku Rumcajsovi..and still are! Nowadays list has couple new names: Harmony Korine, Michael Haneke, Andrey Zvyagintsev and Hellbutcher&Tyrant from the band Nifelheim.
