Actions on Protection of the Cinematographic Heritage. Horror cinema: A genre geography in Catalonia

The Academy of Catalan Cinema devotes the yearly action on recovering the cinematographic heritage in Catalan horror cinema. With this objective, a selection of 8 iconic genre titles with a Catalan connection has been made, coordinated by researcher and programmer Jordi Sánchez Navarro, guiding us in a historical and authorial journey through Catalan horror, as well as claiming spaces –either inhabited or avoided– which the genre has used thoroughly as a powerful narrative tool.
TerrorMolins hosts the introduction of the journey made on these localisations with the screening of one of the films selected: "¿Quién puede matar a un niño?" by Chicho Ibáñez Serrador as well as a round table with movie maker Jaume Balagueró, film reviewer Desirée de Fez and the coordinator of the action Jordi Sánchez Navarro.
