Sofie Somoroff

Sofie Somoroff is a filmmaker based in LA. Her recent horror short, LOVE IS A FIRE, took home Best Midnight Short at FilmQuest 2022 and Nightmares 2022, and was noted for “its terrifying ending that will quench any horny feelings you have for the next hour” (Film Threat). Prior to that, she made a series of musicals about living in LA. Her sci fi short, CUT, inspired by her grandmother’s experiences in a home for unwed mothers, is available to watch on Dust.
