Karel Konings obtained his masters in engineering at the university of Leuven. Not being fulfilled with this career, he went to Amsterdam and learnt the craft of acting. During this period, he also sparked a passion for filmmaking. His latest short film ‘BIRDCAGE’ will premier at Screamfest 2023. Earlier that year he played the lead in a Rwandese feature film. Having both acted and directed, he is now determined to combine these crafts and create movies that will hook the viewers for ages.
