Gabriel Duarte is a young Brazilian filmmaker. In his films, the director and screenwriter usually approaches complex themes with an intimate and sensitive look. At the age of 22, he began making his first films and rap video clips with friends from the neighborhood. In a short time, Duarte stood out. In 2019, he scripted directed the medium-length film "Explicit Content." In 2020, he directed "Empty Eyes," a short performance film. In 2021, he made his fiction film debut with the award-winning short film "Am I Not Someone?"
