Nôž - The Knife

A short film about the power of motherly love. A mother is forced to show her love for her daughter through physical sacrifice. The film depicts the primitive instincts which help the mother to protect her child from danger.

Timotej Lukovič

Timotej Lukovič is a student at The Film and Television Faculty of The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. His first film The Knife was awarded as the best animated movie at the Áčko festival. Apart from working on his projects, Timotej also helps animating other films and tv series. (Websters, Mimi and Lisa, both by Katarína Kerekesová, Lunate by Klára Fedora Homzová, etc.) In 2020 he published 10 volumes of comics series Marek a Svetložrúti for children´s magazine Slniečko. In his spare time he makes music videos, posters, illustrations, and animated spots for commercial use.
